Regarding server

HI experts,

How can we know the name of the server.

Is there any name will be there for it.

like we work in development server.

What do you mean by the name of the server are you talking about the LANDSCAPE .If you are talking about the landscape then our

Landscape is like a server system or like a layout of the servers or some may even call it the architecture of the servers viz. SAP is divided into three different lanscape DEV, QAS and PROD.

- DEV would have multiple clients for ex: 190- Sandbox, 100- Golden, 180- Unit Test.

- QAS may again have mutiple clients for ex: 300- Integration Test, 700 to 710 Training.

- PROD may have something like a 200 Production.

These names and numbers are the implementer's discreet on how they want it or they have been using in their previous implementations or how is the client's business scenario.

Got SM51

you can find there list of server names clikc on the server naem and then click RELEASE NOTES

Hi,

Go to SAP easy access screen -> system->status-> you ll find it there.

go to the inital screen on the menu follow

systems->status

left bottom you will find the name of your application server

for ex sapapo_EC1_05

Check in table t000 here u ca find clients on your server and to findout your server name SYSTEM> STATUS> HOSTDATA-->SERVERNAME..

system->status u can find all the details..

If it is answered then stop it watching.... means close this case shilpa..
