hey experts,

I need some advise in my career at this time.

Although its going to be repeated question I need to plan what to do next in SAP Career.

I am working in ABAP(Only abap) + I know Java + I took ADM100 Course at SAP academy.

(Totally i have 5yrs exp and 1+exp in ABAP)

Now i want to go next step of my carreer. so i want to know the possibilities of

taking next course and certification.

I am certainly confused by, what course should i take next and what certification i aim at.

In the mean time, I am interested in taking up BW consultant. But i am not sure whether

i will suite for the BW datawareshouse course or should i have to finish any certification before that.

Apart from my interest in turning my carreer, I really want to know whats the possibility of

turning my carreer in this moment.

if you could point out what could be the best for me to do now, would be greatly appreciated.

(Now i am planning to takeup any One course in SAP academy,so what could be that course which

takes my carreer up, thats my question)

Even though I do not consider myself to be an expert on giving other people career advice, I think I can at least give an opinion.

Given the things you say about yourself, I think so far you have been a software developer. There are various course tracks by SAP for developers. In the future, it looks like SAP will develop more and more parts of their applications in the JAVA programming language. So I think for a developer the course track TJA14 - Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver '04 - Web Application Development Focus JAVA (see for details) might be an interesting option. If you think that sap education and certification are a good career move, I would recommend having a look there.

Hope that helps,
