Hi All,

I m getting an error revceiptent port invalid and IDOC is ending in status 56.

The following are the partner profile details:

Receiver:

PE_PSEG (Configured in inbound paramters: idoc message type)

SP

A00000019 - Port

Sender:

PE_AMERPWR (Configured in inbound paramters: idoc message type)

SP

A00000019 - Port

I have checked the RFC connection for A00000019, its working fine and points to the current server i am trying to execute/test the IDOC.....

Please help me in this issue...

Hi Shiva,

The same issue was experienced by another developer and all configuration was fine but the issue still persisted.

The problem was SAP expects the port to be defined in a particular naming convenstion i.e.

Your port name should be a contanetation of SAP + <System_id>.

i.e. If you recipient server has a system ID as SID then the port number should be

SAPSID.

Please change the port name as so and check.

For other IDOC types, its working fine...

But why not for this???
