Hi Friends,

I want to edit one report which has been created in another server & now that server is closed permanently.

So i am trying to edit that program but system not allowing me to do that due to different source system.

Note: Do not suggest to copy exiting program with different name & use.

Thanks & Regards,

Venkatesh Toraskar

My 2 cents... Because the system no longer exists in your SAP landscape i would suggest writing a custom report which changes the original system of all the workbench objects created in the "extinct" system to your current development system.

Well, as Matthew stated it and you've marked it already as correct, you can do this via SE03.

Why do that when you can achieve it from SE03. (Change object directory entries, enter old "Original System", select the node and use hidden command MASS).

I know, cool isn't it. But I didn't find it myself. I can't remember where I heard about it - it might even have been here.

I have already forwarded this info to my colleagues. The person who had developed a report for changing the original system of WB objects was, however, not too much amused

Hidden OK-Codes must not be hidden, IMHO!
