Problem in creating the copy of the standard transaction CK51N

Hi Experts,

I have tried to copy the standard code of transaction CK51N with program name SAPLCKDI.

At first it has prompted for the copy of function module CKDI

then i copied to YCKDI.

Then I have found that some of the function modules are different with the standard function modules

that is different in sometimes Attributes and in source code.

So I am getting an error message " Plant does not exist". Due to mismatch of function module attribites and

source code.

Any one tell me how copy again so that there should not be any mismatch.

Plz! help! its urgent!.

Thanks & regards,

You will not like my answer: copying standard SAP programs is the very last option you should do, certainly to avoid problems during upgrade.

Can't your requirements be met with enhancements or modifications?

Hi John,

First of all thanks for your frank reply.

In my functional requirement given me to copy the standard transaction CK51N and change at some place in the code of

one include and other change.

So according to requirement I haven't focussed on

enhancement and modifications.

However I have to copy the standard and I have to modify some code.

Hi Santhosh Rayarakul,

Excuse me for coming back once more: it is very strange that in a functional requirement the statement "copy transaction xxxx" is included, don't you think? In a functional requirement only functional descriptions should be made and never the technical solution, as this is the responsibility of a technical consultant like you!

However, good luck in copying the standard transactions as this is a hell of a job!
