Can any one please explain me what this satement do.

Please explain me.......

IMPORT GS_MATNR_CTRL FROM MEMORY ID 'ZMEM'.

Any suggestions or information will be appreciated.

By this u r using the perticular value from a fixed memory location...

By using export statement that was transfered to rthat memory location

Hi ,

This statement will fetch the data stored at the memory ID 'ZMEM.

For saving the data to memory ID we use export .

This statement will import or read data or values stored in memory id ZMEM...

This statement will import the value stored in the memory id 'ZMEM' (if it is already stored through EXPORT) and store the same into the variable GS_MATNR_CTRL.
