Hi Friends,

I need to fetch a few table entries, create a file and place it in a LINUX path. Can you please tell me details of how to go about setting up connection with LINUX and how to place the file in the given path.

Thanks,

Dikshitha G

This has been discussed many times. linux & unix both should be same i guess.

Please search in SCn for more details.

Exactly what I wanted to know. Can one of you confirm if placing a file in LINUX & UNIX follows the same procedure or are there any changes while doing it for LINUX.

Thanks,

Linux is a unix clone . Linux is just another unix operating system . The unix syntax works in linux.

It should be the same.

Why dont you try it in a sample program ?
