Hi!

I have to apply this OSS note 965987, 1079819 and 1029426 in my system. I ahd applied the same note 965987 sometime in last year and have been asked to again apply the note . Do I ahve to again implement thsi note by removing the earlier one and replacing it with the same again or I can just leave it the same.

I mean to say that this note was already implemented and it was version 7 and now I get the same thing with a version 8 but I dont see any difference in them , can anyone explain what do I need to do and whats teh difference in these versions that they are talking about.

Thanks

First you need to check if note is already added into the support pack level you have in system. If not then use snote transaction and check the status. SNOTE will suggest if you need to implement the note.

I assumed that, note doesn't require manual intervention.

Mahesh

Best way is goto SNOTE and check whether the note is active... Now download the notes and apply one by one in sequence..

Go to SNOTE and with note browser verify that the note is valid for you system and SP level.

Then before apply correction follow instruction for manual correction as reported in correction instruction and in particular pay attention to the following advice: "Caution: The description of the manual tasks in this note was changed on February 19, 2007. Make sure that the entry in TRWPR table is correct in your system.".

If everything it's ok implement the note.

Ivan

the problem is I dont have access to SNOTE , and as per teh SAP support teams instructions all the notes as far as I see it manually looks in place , so if I ask the basis ppl to implement it as they have access to it , it should get implemented .

Folllowing is the note sent to me from teh SAP kindly suggest what would be that I ahve to do.

Dear Customer,

The problem is caused by the program error described on note 965987 and

1029426. Since the correction is not in place, please implement those

notes as soon as possible. Because of this program error, necessary

data for clearing in FAGL_SPLINFO is missing for doc. 100117368 line

item 001. I suspect there are also other 'missing' FAGL_SPLINFO data

as well. To analyze this, please install program ZF_FIND_STORNO_SPLINFO

as described on note 1079819. Once we have a list of erroneous documents we can repair them (which can only be done by SAP support).

Once all notes are in, please send this message back with opened remote

connection and we will help more.

Thanks

hi Aarav,

I have gone through your OSS notes.

First you need to check with BASIS team whether they have implemented it or not and if they have done it and you are sure that they have done then check as per the notes corrections given on the Market Place SAP Portal by getting into the objects whether the changes you can see or not.

If you are able to see all the changes are there as per instructions in the OSS note then you don't have to implement but as per the message send by SAP those notes are not properly implemented so i think something has missed out or whole of the note is not properly implemnetd as notes also contain manual correction and as well as the direct corrections need to be done by SNOTE

So what i will suggest is go through the note properly and sit with your basis team and discuss each and every thing in the note.

Thanks,

Harsh
