in MM01 a customer field is added to the basic data 1. when a material is created by copying from existing material all the fields are getting copied and this customer field alone is not getting copied. I need to solve this by using a user exit. can any one help me?
Check the BADI 'BADI_MATERIAL_REF', the documentation clearly says that this is used to add custom defined fields while creating the material, hope this helps.
