Hi..

I am displaying a message on the web page from SE80 program and by default it displays the messahe line in red color.

Now, i need to display some other text also along with the message, and i should display it in black color rather.

How should i do that?

Appreciate your inputs.

Thanks!

I am assuming you are using standard sap : message e010 with ztext ztext1.

Ztext = '<FONT COLOR="######">text text text text text</FONT> '.

ztext1 = '<FONT COLOR="######">text text text text text</FONT> '.

You cant change the display color of the error messages as it is the standard GUI provided by SAP and remains the same throughout the system. However you can add the message text as per your requirement.

There are three ways you can call the message:

1. MESSAGE xnnn.

2. MESSAGE ID id TYPE mtype NUMBER n.

3. MESSAGE xnnn(mid).

There are six kinds of message type:

A : Termination

E : Error

I : Information

S: Status message

W: Warning

X :Termination with short dump

Here Msg-ID is the class of message, nnn is the message no. and X is the one of the above mentioned message types.
