we have about 8 ABAP stack systems and lots of factory calendars in each. Actually, the validity of the calendars is a mess and I am thinking of a mass tool to adjust all factory (and holiday) calendars to a unique validity end date. This could be used then in all systems every n years to extend the validity again.
Since the SCAL screens work with ALV, I see no possibility to create batch input recordings as a base for the tool.
Has anyone done something similar? Or is ist better to extend everything to - let's say - year 2200 and forget about it for the rest of my life? Are there performance issues with this approach?
How do you deal with it?
