LSMW STRUCTURE IBIP-TEXT

All.

I am using sap standard batch input program 0490 and program IBIP.

I am having major issues with a structure called IBIPTEXT the field TXLINE in this

structure is meant to have 72 Characters. But when using it to load data the

data is being concatenated down to 33 or 30 in the foreground.

Have never seen this beforeu2026do any of you have an idea whats going on?

This LSMW project was working okay until recently now the texts are not coming through

correctly.

I am really experienced in writing LSMW's but I am not sure why this field has changed.

I suspect a note or something like that has been implemented.

I tried the same thing by reading a 72 character long string into IBIP-text. Until convert data it worked fine.

Confirm that the source field is 72 characters long.

Yes the thing you said of truncating the data to 30 characters occured when I was using the Fixed value option in mapping. the fixed value we set is of 30 characters which might be causing the problem.

Hi,

I do not have a fixed value mapping. This data was migrating okay until the system

was recently refreshed. I have used this batch input job mutliple times to load this

data so this is a recent development.

Can you please advise?
