Solved: Re: Loading New ABAP Editor ?

Hi All,

I am currently working on ECC 6.0 ( SAP Logon 710 and Application server 7.0 ) . I am trying to load the new abap editor through SE38 - > Utilities - > Settings - > Front End Editor(New). But once i click the new wditor the sustem gets hanged. Please let me know the procedure to load new ABAP editor.

Make sure that you have the latest SAPgui patches for Sapgui 7.10

Hi Navneeth,

The way you are using to load the new ABAP editor is fine.

There is no problem in it.

May be you can consult your BASIS guys for further information.

Thanks for the reply, could you please provide me the patch level and necessary files (like any dll files) details, required for the new Abap Editor.

If you are using SApgui 710, then the current patch level is 5 and it can be downloaded here.

Hi Rich,

Thanks for the GUI patch, i have installed it successfully but still the problem persists, when i try to logon to editor it gets hanged, please let me know other prerequisite file details for getting this Abap editor running.
