Issue in SPAU - With Modification Assistant

Hello all,

This is with respect to upgrade processes where transactions such as SPDD and SPAU are run by technical folks for SAP Objects adjustments.

There is one issue we are facing in our project:-

Technically once all the objects are adjusted in SPAU under the categories - NOTE CORRECTIONS, WITH MODIFICATION ASST, WITHOUT MODIFICATION ASST all sub-objects turn Green and so do the Category Headers, i.e. the root title

NOTE CORRECTIONS, WITH MA, WITHOUT MA also turn Green.

But in our case, the root title WITH MA stays BLUE even though all the objects under it are and appear adjusted.

We are unable to find out which is that unadjusted object.

All inputs/suggestions on this issue would be of great help.

Thanks & Regards

Dedeepya C

Hi,

Unadjusted Objects can been seen in SE80 > Local objects/Inactive objects.

Make use of SE95 : Modification Browser for filtering out those which are adjusted/modified.

Which subtree is in blue color.

Like Program,Function module etc...

And if there is any sub tree is in blue check that sub tree and let me know what values its showig under that subtree

Have you tried checking the processor/status settings for the object (right-click, then select processor/status)? Sometimes this allows you to "check out" the object and give it the green status. This should be done only if the object is resolved.

@ Naresh: Subtree-With Modification Assistant appears in Blue whereas all the objects under this header are in green,i.e. adjusted.

@ Trond: Processor Status are checked for objects, in my case i dont know which object as there is no display of inactive/unadjusted objects in the list, all the objects are in Green but for some reason the header title "WITH MODIFICATION ASSISTANT" appears blue. Need to find out which is that unadjusted object.

Thanks

Hi Dedeepya,

Can you check all sub objects for X red mark.

There may be some situations one object is edited by 2 persons and it shows X in red color you can accept that changes too

Let me know if there are any concerns.

Thanks

Naresh

Its resolved.

Apparently it had something to do with Transports.
