Is it feasible to copy idocs from one system to another in mass upload and download?

Hi Gurus,

I want to ask if is it feasible to create a custom program that gets the Inbound file in WE19 and collect in one file to upload in CG3Y for mass file download?

Hello,

this blog (and also some others) provides a method to download a single Idoc.

https://blogs.sap.com/2014/02/11/copying-test-idocs-from-another-system/

As you mentioned "mass upload...", you could check if transaction WLF_IDOC is available in your system. It offers a function "Send IDoc via RFC" (in the "Utilities" menu). I don't have experience with it, but it looks more promising than dealing with each and every single Idoc in WE19.

Kind regards

Jan

Create a custom program? Yes, it can do whatever you want. Why referring to WE19? (it's just a manual test tool). You can read IDocs, create IDocs, process IDocs, or write a file.

Note that you can generate manually a file containing an existing IDoc, by using WE19 to create an outbound IDoc if the original one is an inbound IDoc, use menu "standard outbound processing", it will be processed according to partner agreement and port defined (WE20/WE21). Port to be a file (flat or XML).
