HR Module

hi all,

i have to work on Time management HR module,please any one help me by telling what are the database tables and Function modules used in HR modules especially for Time Management( Like shift schedule etc).

Other than that if any one is having any idea to do it in a better way than please help.Actutally i have to capture data from electronic attendance machine.the data will come to me in 1 string which contain emp id,emp time etc details.now i have to put it in database table and identify the IN-OUT time for particular employee depending upone the shift of that employee.

Any one is having any ideas ,then please give me.Thanx in advance.
