Hello Experts ..

i had a z program which is stored in a package that is transportable , in that i created a screen 100. Then i copied the same program to another z program and stored in $tmp package. But here if i click on screen 100 , it is stating that screen does not exist and create it. so please tell me how to use the same screen in this program also.

Thanks for the reply

You can either just copy the screen to the new program in SE80 or delete the program and re-copy it (this time including the screens). Since you may have missed some other objects in the first copy, I'd go for deleting and re-copying.

Hi,

As per my knowledge,

we can not copy the screen from one prog. to another.

If we want the screen with the same structure of one prog into other, we have to create it into other and have to design it.

Thanks

hi shiva,

in SE80 you see al objects of your Z program (screen, GUI statuses, etc.). Easiest is if you copy everything there (right click on each object anme an Copy), than you won't miss anything.

hope this helps

Hi Shiva,

when you copy a program it will automatically ask for

whether to copy

1.Documentaion

2.Variants

3.Screens

4.User Interfaces

5.Includes

In that option if you have checked the "screens" option and activate the program then surely that screen should refer to the same from which you have copied from
