How to use ALV Grid toolbar controls in the BDC

Hi Dear,

I want to use the ALV Grid toolbar Controls in the BDC.

right now i m reaching to ALV grid titlebar. Now i want to capture the event of the ALV Grid Toolbar. So please help me for the same.

Hi everybody,

Please help me out. I need it urgently.

I want to convert the ALV Output into either List Output or EXCEL Sheet during the BDC. For that i have to use the ALV Grid tollbar Control and capture the event of the same. During Recording nothing i m getting for the same. so i have to input the same manually. I have tried to paste the program to convert both ALV in List Out put directly and by making a form. as there is the function for converting the ALV Grid Format to List Output Format Named REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY. But it is first perform all the forms of the BDC there after checks the same.

Hi Siddarth,

You can convert the grid output to list using the ALV toolbar. Just after the Print button there is an option to display the output in list format. Please try this.

that was the way by which you can convert the Simple ALV grid into list output but i am asking how to use that button in the BDC because i m using the same in BDC

Which method are you using for displaying the ALV.

Is it function module or OOPS?

Is it a custom program or standard?

I am using the form for the same and that functionality i want to implement in BDC. Generally we can't do the smae by BDC but there is some way by which we can do the same in BDC that i don't know thats why asking.

1. Is the program is an ABAP report program or module pool

2. How you have implemented the ALV? Using function module or OOPS

3. Is this a custom program

Hi Siddarth,

Did you try the menu 'LIST' in the ALV display?

Please try out the menu LIST -> Print Preview to change the layout to list.

Dear Vinod;

you are right that we can Convert ALV into List OutPut using the button next to the Print Button. That we have to do manually. Moreover if we want to convert the same in the program then we can do the same using the Function Module REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.

<b>But I think you are still not getting my point.</b>

<b>I want to Convert the ALV into List Output in The BDC</b> which right now I have to do manually which is not applicable in the case of BDC. <b>Moreover I recorded this BDC for Transcation Code KKs1.</b> In which the Final Output comes in the ALV format which I want to convert <b>in the BDC</b> in List Output Format. So please Help me for the same.

Hi Siddarth,

Did you find a solution for your problem with the BDC and the alv toolbar. Because i have the same problem, I cannot capture anything with the BDC.
