Hi Pavan

Looks like you made some changes to a program by adding a new event.. there wont any option to transport only one event, you need to transport the new version of the code to test or PRD.. version management takes care of this.

all you need to do is assign / create a new transport request to the program and ask your Basis guy to transport it. Once the code is moved to test or PRD.. the new code with which you added the even will become the active version, and the old code will be saved in the version manager.

regards

JJ.

Hi,

Actually I am the basis guy and I created this event in T-Code SM62 and the developers tested it and they want me to move this event to TST system. How can I do that? Is there any way to transport Or else can I create the same event in TST system?

Thanks & regards,

Pavan.

Hi Pavan,

Events cannot be transported other system by locking into transport request.

You will have to create the event in other system as well.

I am using version 4.6C and there is no support for transport.

Hi Guru,

Thanks. You are right. Events can not be transported. I logon to target system and created the same event and its working fine.

Thanks & regards,

Pavan.

Dear all,

Create a transport request and select the relevant entries from tables BTCUED and BTCUEV into this transport.

Best regards,
