how to transport a request

hai freinds i saved an object in a request , then how will i transport to target system give me the detailed steps

Hi

Goto Se09 or Se10 tcode

select the Request number

first release all the Tasks under that request

then release the Request

Then Give that request number to BAsis person he will import it using STMS tcode

Hi,

You would collect the objects in the request and then relase ie in se10/se09 and then transport using STMS.

Hi,

Go to se09/SE01 in that screen in request status check midifiable and click on disply.In the next screen screen expand your TR.First click On the Task and then press F9 OR Click On the truck Button.After That Release your TR In the same way.

goto SE09 or SE10.

release the task then release the request,

Login to the server where you want to import.

Use tcode STMS_IMPORT, select ur request by using SELECT / DESELECT button in application toolbar,

Click on the a TRUCK icon(half filled) (import request)

A POPup will appear select the target client.

click on OPTION tab click all the check box like (leave transport..,overwrite orginals...etc)

1. Go to Se01.

2. Search the transport request.

3. Release all the task under that request by 'release directly' (Truk sign) in the tool bar.

4. After relesing all the Task, release the Transport request in the same way.

5. A batch job will transport the object to the target system ( It may take some time depending how the batch job is scheduled).

hi,

transaction se09

1)1st click on request number.

2)release sub request 1st . seelct subrequest in menu there is option of truck icon click it.

3)after release sub request now release main request using same truck icon.
