how to start with a RFC transaction

HI,

i am give with a rfc transaction issue i dont have any idea about it so can some boby guide me how can i get started early ie. tell me the way to approach and pls provide some documents

call function ' ' Destination RFC call

Ex : you want fetch some data from APO server...

you can call the function module from R/3 with syntax call function ' ' Destination RFC call

it will trigger the APO server from R/3.

Hi Ravikiran

Suppose you want to call your function ,then you have to give the destination of that FM.

Logica destination of the FM is defined in transaction SM59.

If you are gettign issue in RFC call ,then first go to SM59 and check the logical destination .

Then do the test call to your RFC destionation ,if test call is sucessful then check the code of your FM.
