How to set displayed column width for a search help

I have created an elementary search help for a custom field with a value table behind it.

The search help functions correctly, but when displayed the column widths are all 10 characters. The user has to adjust the column to view the descriptive text.

Can anyone tell me how to set default column widths for the help?

Please open you Elementary search help and see the Column width behind the Fields of your ...there increase the width of the fields

"Activate it  and refresh

Hi Girish,

The problem is that I have a text field of width 40 that is only partly displayed.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Column Width behind the fields" - I cannot find any setting for displayed column width within the search help definition.

Any further advice appreciated.

I think there is a problem with your GUI ... please close this application and open it again else check with the basis team .

This might be a GUI problem

ask your Basis person to install the latest GUI patch

Anyway you are reffering to the database field which has got dat element ... please check the Fields text length ...

myit be i think it was give as 10 .... if you change it will work out ...

The problem appears to affect several standard search helps as well, so it does look like it's probably a GUI problem.

I've referred it to the Basis team and it is currently awaiting resolution.
