How to provide action log for new field ?

Hi guys,

I have added one customized field in IL02 transaction.

I want to have action log for the same. It maintains the changed by users.

Under Menu -Extras->Displays changes - this is maintined.

But Extras->Action Log is not maintained.

Can anyone suggest how i can achieve this requirement?

Suitable answer will be rewarded.

Hi,

where is the custom field stored..is it in standard sap table?

Is the changes displayed using change object defined in the transaction SCDO?

Hi,

The field is stored in EQUI table.

How to define change object in SCDO.?

I suppose you need to extend Action log table for the technical object as well.. ie : ALIFLO
