How to mark the status of unprocessed entries as processed in BDCP2 table

Dear Experts,

We have a issue wherein RBDMIDOC job is failing for message type MATMAS and resulting in dump. As a result, data is piling in BDCP2 table and we want to remove a set of faulty entries from BDCP2 created due to wrong data maintained.

Can you please suggest a away to mark these few entries as proceeded in BDCP2 which we would be later deleting using RBDCPLR program.

Appreciate the immediate response as we have lots of data stuck in PRD.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Shaheen.

Hi Shaheen,

you could try to use function module CHANGE_POINTERS_STATUS_WRITE in an own small abap.

As alternative you can run one of the reports RBDCPCLR / RBDCPCLR2 to delete specific trigger points, so your change will be ignored.

I had the same issue with TOO_MANY_DECIMALS dump from single contract change, which blocked all changes on BD21 for this idoc type. Report helped.
