how to change the package

hi,

i created one function module in one package, Now i wants to save that function module into another package. how can i do it. pls help me.

hi,

Go to transaction SE21.

1. Give the package name to be changes.

2. Use the Change button from application tool bar.

3. give the target name.

4. Start renaming all the components.

In the attributes u can change the package name.

Hi,

Goto GOTO->Object Directory Entry ( click on change mode )

and select the package that you want.

Hi,

goto that function module.select GOTO-.OBJECT DIRECTORY ENTRY press the change button there u can change.

otherwise goto se03 there u can change.

hi,

Goto SE80 and give the Function group then click Display button, then place the cursor on the function module then right click then select Change package, then change the package

Go to SE37>

Put in the name of the Fm for which you want to change the package

under GOTO you will find Object directory Entry

click on display change and change the package

hi,

i tried what you said.but it is giving the message Cannot extend package ZSW4NETOLD.i needed to change the package from zsw4net to zsw4netold.

Hi,

Go to Tcode SE80 and view your package from there,

then uncheck the option Package not extendable, under Package properties.

then go and change again.

1. go to T-code SE03

2. click change directory -> change object directory entries

3. choose the appropriate option ob the object and give the name of the FM

4. execute

5. place the cursor on the object

6. click "object directory"

7. give the proper object name

8. save
