I'm investigating the possibilty that users who are working in a transaction can go the relevant manual straight away by clicking either on the sap help or on a new button or menu item in the standard sap menu above.
all the manuals are located in pdf somewhere on a webserver.
so if a user is working in a serviceorder in company 6300 then the help should recognize the tcode and company code (or ordertype) and go to the url connected to this ordertype tcode and companycode
I thought of making a ztable for this but I guess there might also be a sollution from SAP ??
when I go debugging through the standard sap help I see IWB_HTML_HELP_EXTENDED_HELP which contains a lot of current information whic I can use very well.
the table iwreferenc contains all the links to the sap help.
is there anyway to enhance and overrule the sap help with our own if we have an alternative ??
or are there other alternatives to dynamically link to the right help documentation ??

I found some info about Knowledge Warehouse but still I don't get the impression that I can use it the way I want it. nice to see that you can direct to different manuals according to region but still I'm looking for a more flexible aproach.
Can knowledge warehous give that or is it easier to implement a new button in the sap menu and write our own programm around it ??
kind regards
