How to call an searchhelp context-dependent

Former Member

Hi there

I have a screen with partners in CRM which is used for several purposes, in one situation the partner is a customer and in another situation it is contact-persons.

I have now developed 2 new search-helps, and in my program I would like to call a search-help depending on what the partnerfield is supposed to contain.

I will make a Process-on-valuerequest and there I will call the searchhelp.

But which function-module shall I use?

I can see that F4_SELECT_SEARCH_HELP gives me some information on the searchhelp, but how can I display the search-help? F4_SEARCH_HELP is obselete, and there is no information in any of language I understand (DA, DE, EN

Best regards

Peter

DATA GL_SHLP LIKE DDSHDESCR.

DATA GL_SHLPNAME LIKE DDSHDESCR-SHLPNAME.

CALL FUNCTION 'F4_SELECT_SEARCH_HELP'

EXPORTING

SHLPNAME_IN = GL_SHLPNAME

HOT_KEY = P_HOTKEY

NO_USER_EXIT = 'X'

IMPORTING

SHLP_OUT = GL_SHLP

EXCEPTIONS

INVALID_HOTKEY = 1

INTERNAL_ERROR = 2

OTHERS = 3.
