How to add field in Table Maintainance Generator

Hi Friends,

            Is it possible to add fields in Table Maintainance Generator, after it had gone to production. it should be done by end user himself not by any sap consultant. if yes tell me the procedure.

if it has to done by only developer how?

Hi Sri Ram,

It is not possible to add the field in directly in PRD!

You should have to do it in development and transport to PRD!

- first add the field in table with transport request

-Refresh or re-generate the table maintenance

- Move to PRD

The End user will not have authorization to do this and it is not a correct practice...

ABAP ers will do the same...

Steps to be followed :

Go to se11 ---> give table name--->Click Change button--->add the fileds u need--->save it will as for a request  --->save activate it

Then re-generate the Table Maintenance Generator

Once everything done...Move the Request to Quality System , check the same...once it found to be OK move the same to PRD with proper approvals...
