Hi Somendra,

I think another task is still holding a lock, as the message says. Please use SE03 to search for the task(s) which still hold the lock.

Hope this will help you.

hi,

if the request is released you can't make any changes in that.

you have to regenerate TMG and have to assign it to new request.

thank you!!

Hi Somendra,

To me sounds like another request is still having this lock and unreleased, but you are sure that in SE03 no other request found with the same "locked object"?

Other idea is to try via SM30, where Table Maintenance usually being done.

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

TCODE : SM12 unlocks objects locked via a lock object.

SM12 cannot unlock the object which are locked in a transport request.

And if you want to create a new TMG then you have to delete the old one first, then go for the new one as whenever we make changes in TMG we have to delete the old one and regenerate it again!!

thank you!!

Hi ,

Thanks all for involved in discussion, Problem solved,

TMG is associated with function group and that function group has been released/Moved to other client.

Instead of deleting  TMG,Created other function group and assigned that function group in TMG, Now i can change my TMG.

Thanks all
