How do I restore the Minimise/Maximise window for Adobe Forms Layout editor?

Following a recent upgrade of our SAP system, the Adobe Forms layout editor lost the ability to maximise and minimise the layout editor window.

Has anyone else had this problem and how is it fixed?

The options are missing and greyed out, as shown below.

Having raised this with SAP I am advised that the maximise and minimise options have been deliberately disabled via registry settings as of patch level 10 of SAP GUI for Windows 7.70 and SAP GUI for Windows 8.00.  Refer SAP Note 3297294 for details.  This has something to do with issues over using multiple monitors, that SAP have been unable to resolve.  Hopefully this is something SAP are going to work on fixing properly, as although they say it is easy to resize windows manually by dragging corners, this is far from ideal.

I do recall having issues with multiple monitors when using the editor.

Anyway, thanks for the update.

Following on from this, I asked SAP if they could at least restore the Maximize ability for the Adobe LiveCycle form editor, since maximize does not cause any issues, as outlined will happen when using Minimize on a multi-monitor setup.  SAP agreed to this and the maximize feature will now be restored as part of patch level 8.00 of release 800.  If you cannot wait, then you can still restore these with registry changes as detailed on SAP Note 3297294.
