Hiding fields in infotype

Hi,

Is it possible to hide certain fields, based on authorization. Basically, we would like to hide Benefit Salary, and Salary override fields based on certain authorization. I cannot seem to do this, without modifying the infotype. Just wanted to find out if there are any other ways of doing this.
