HI,

You cannot modify the SAP Standard code with out access key. And once you modify the standard SAP code you will get into problems when you apply a patch or when you upgrade since all your changes will be overwritten by the upgrade.

When you ask for an access key from SAP, SAP will now that you have modified this program, it will be helpful for SAP when they receive some CSS message from the customer.

So as far as possiblw you should avoid changes to the standard. SAP Will provide you options for enhancing a program with help of BADI's or customer exits or user exits. You should instead enhance a program instead of modifying it.

Sesh

Hi Manju,

You are absolutely right. While you put some code in the include MV45AFZZ, the system will ask for the access key for the first time. You will have to get the key from the Client in which you are to put the code.

Anyways for Sales related exits, this Include MV45AFZZ is the right place to put the code in once ur sure that it is the right place where the control comes.

Reward points if found useful....
