Guidance required for PTRV_KMSUM

Hi all,

I am suppossed to load data into the table PTRV_KMSUM .

Unfortunately SAP has not provided a view for this in SM30

for me to do the recording.

I need to use LSMW. Now, I can't do recording in LSMW nor

SHDB.

Please guide me here with regards to loading data into this table.

Shall I create a ZBAPI ?? Is this the only solution I am left with???

Any inputs will be very helpful.

U can create a custom maintenance View taking those tables

n there by u can upload data.

Or create a view n then create a module pool program taking those fields

on the screen and then upload data using LSMW or any other bdc method

as per ur requirement.

Wanted you to elaborate a few things for me....

This is what I have understood.

1. Create a custom view for the table PTRV_KMSUM.

2.create a module pool program.

3. Upload using recording in LSMW or BDC.

What I didn't understand was the Module Pool program part.

Please throw some more light on it.

Yes,

Exatly u can do that.

U can create a custom maintenance view then using sm30 u can upload data.

But u cannot do recording for that , only u can upload data in small amount there.

Other way is:

For recording u need to create a dialog program using those fields u need to upload

and u can go ahead to do LSMW .For this procedure u dont need to create a view.

Hi Jagadish,

My team here doesnot want me to develop any Z programs.

I have done recording for table T588E and T588A in SM30 using LSMW.Both are having views.

I would like to do the same for PTRV_KMSUM by creating the Zview for it and then do recording in SM30 using LSMW.

What do you think???
