in the following declaration how we will use single quote apostrophe ( ' ) .

CONSTANTS valid(60) TYPE c VALUE 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ_-.''.

please help?

You can do like this.


constants: char(2) value '`'`'.

" Is it clear for you.
" `` Use the ' inbetween these two characters

i write CONSTANTS valid(60) TYPE c VALUE 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ_-.`'`'.

but showing error that end is not correct.

Hello,

I think we can't make with constant. But this can be possible with variable.


DATA VALID(60) TYPE C ."VALUE TEXT-001.
VALID = TEXT-001.
WRITE: VALID.
" Where text-001 = ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ_-.'

hey plz tell me for constant so dat dat problem can be solved , is there any other way to solve in case of constant.
