Hi,

Actually what is the use of FM such as

DB_INSERT_TABLE

DB_DELETE_TABLE

DB_UPDATE_TABLE

They CREATE/DELETE/ALTER the database tables(not to be confused with the contents of those tables).

It looks to me that you could use this to update a database table dynamically. Send it the table name and the SQL code. That's it.

Srinivas, the short text of the DB_INSERT_TABLE reads...

"Insert contents of SAP tables with dynamic names".

Are you sure that your statement is correct?

Actually I wrote this without looking into the system trying to recollect from my memory. But may be I am wrong.

Anyone care to test it on a "Z" table? I really don't see the point of these FMs, you could just do a dynamic INSERT statement using field symbols.

They are not remote enable, so you couldn't even call them from outside the system.
