FM/BAPI to create BOM with alternative

Hi

My requirement is to copy BOM components of a material into another material where I need to input 'Alternative BOM' also like jn CS01 t-code.

The FM CSAP_MAT_BOM_CREATE is creating BOM , but it does not take 'Alternative BOM' as input parameter, rather it creates default alternative BOM. But I need a FM which will take alternative BOM as input.

Please help.

Maybe CS_BI_BOM_CREATE_BATCH_INPUT ?

Hello Laurent,

This is SAP standard. Pleaase check the note 115784.

Note 501303 describes the reason why an ALE processing of multiple BOMs

is currently not possible:
