Dear All,

How to get the text defined in value range of a domain?

field name:

data : zfff like z_itab-zfff.

data element: zeee

domain: zddd.

value range: 01-bangalor

02-hyd

03-chennai

I want retreive the text i.e bang,hyd,....

can anybody tell me how to do?

Use below code.

DATA:ITAB LIKE DD07V OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.

DATA:LANG TYPE SY-LANGU VALUE 'EN'.

DATA:TEXT LIKE DD07T-DDTEXT.

CALL FUNCTION 'DDIF_DOMA_GET'

EXPORTING

NAME = 'zddd'

STATE = 'A'

LANGU = LANG

  • IMPORTING

  • GOTSTATE =

  • DD01V_WA =

TABLES

DD07V_TAB = ITAB

  • EXCEPTIONS

  • ILLEGAL_INPUT = 1

  • OTHERS = 2

READ TABLE ITAB WITH KEY DOMVALUE_L = zfff.

TEXT = ITAB-DDTEXT.

Get data from table:

DD07L (R/3 DD: values for the domains)

DD07T (DD: Texts for Domain Fixed Values (Language-Dependent))
