First Security Area post

This is a first post to the security question tag for those who might look for me to find the new security forum -> space -> tag...

I will update it with tips for using the new SCN "answers" and "tags" to find your way to dedicated security content.

  • Application area content should also have the application area tag added - you can search for both as a filter.
  • The first general tip is that in the tags when searching for "security" you must scroll right to the bottom to find "security" (in general).
  • The second tip is that you must use the search to find threads from the archive and when creating a question you will be invited to do so -> someone might have asked the same question already, and got an answer.
  • Lazy questions with no prior search and you have no training but expect others to do your work is your problem - will be deleted.
  • Yes, the old Points System has been discontinued.

Hey Julius

Direct link to security content so you can follow it for your activity stream:

Would it be worth differentiating when security should be the primary tag vs secondary? E.g if the question is about an MM transaction restrictions then put primary in the MM module but secondary is security to align with old SCN?

Hello Julius,

thank you for the update.

I created a question with the primary tag "Security" already three days ago and it is still in the status: "This post is currently awaiting moderation. If you believe this to be in error, contact a system administrator."

Am I overlooking something here how to utilize the new forum structure?

Thanks,

Peter
