Hi. I'd like to ask You sth.

1. Where is info about <b>Cost element groups</b> in database kept? Which tables?

2. The info I'm searching for is which CostElementGroup given Cost element belongs to.

Your tips would be very helpful for me. Greetings. P.

check the tables SETHEADER and SETLEAF

in the above tables give the SETCLASS as 0102 , you will get all the cost element group names in the field SETNAME

Cost element groups are not stored directly in a table - they are stored as SETS which can be read using SAP supplied function modules.

Take a look at program RGSEX001 for a good example of the functions and how to use them.

You can do it this way -

<b>1. Derive the SetID</b> -

CALL FUNCTION 'G_SET_GET_ID_FROM_NAME'
       EXPORTING
            shortname = ld_set " Cost Element grp name
       IMPORTING
            new_setid                = ld_setid
            set_info                 = ls_setinfo
       EXCEPTIONS
            no_set_found             = 1
            no_set_picked_from_popup = 2
            table_field_not_found    = 3
            fields_dont_match        = 4
            wrong_subclass           = 5
            error_message            = 9.

<b>Step 2 - Drive the ranges by calling the second FM</b>

* read set values
  CALL FUNCTION 'G_SET_GET_ALL_VALUES'
       EXPORTING
            setnr           = ld_setid
            no_descriptions = space
       TABLES
            set_values      = lt_setvalues
       EXCEPTIONS
            set_not_found   = 1.

This range is the list of Cost Elements.

Cheers
