Error when releasing a transport in BW 7.3

We recently upgraded our system to SAB BW 7.3 SP 7. Since then whenever we load our roles into transports in DEV, when we try to release the transports we get the error "Object Z:XXX_XXX needs object ACGR Z_XYZ_XYZXY;  latter is not in a request.” Message no. RSO657. If you cancel out of that error message and try to release the transport again, it will release without any errors. Anybody knows what could be causing this issue.

Hello Chox,

please have  a look at SAP note 1726669  to avoid that error in the future.

Hi chox,

Hope you are doing good.

With release 7.3 a more sophisticated check is carried out for BW objects, when a transport request is released. This way it is assured, that objects belonging together are transported within the very

same transport request. This is needed to prevent possible errors caused by missing objects,

in the import procedure. If you are sure, that the mentioned objects are already transported and exists in the target system, you can simply ignore the errors and release the transport request.
