Enhancing Infotypes

Hi,

I have enhanced infotype 0002 (Personal Data) by adding a new customised

field via PM01 and everything seems to be working ok. I can go into PA20

and see this new field displayed. However, when I try and insert a value into

this new field for an employee via PA30 and press the SAVE button I get the

prompt for Customizing request and asks for a transport request no.

Surely this can't be right.

Does anybody have any ideas what I may have done wrong??

it shud not happen actually..

pls check if all the structures like ci_include etc are activated and also please try to save another infotype in PA30 just to chek if this is the case with all the ITs or only it is with IT0002.

Thanks for replying.

I have just saved a different infotype with no problems. It only appears

in the infotype 0002 which I have amended.

Any ideas???

Have you check technical attributes of it. Technical Attibutes?

when customize the infotypes it will ask u for request number if it exist give it otherwise create request number .

refer tcode - SCC4 or ask u basis team to take care of settings in this tcode.
