Hello, is it possible to connect the Eclipse to the SAP Gateway Demo Server - ES5?

And if yes how.

You can't. If you want to try developing with eclipse you can use your trial BTP-Account or you can download an

SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP

As per the below blog by Andre, I don't think it is possible to connect the same, as we can use ES5 for WebIDE and SAPGUI for HTML only.
