I connect the system over VPN.

and let's say I close VPN before closing Eclipse.

and now I want to close open editors in Eclipse.

each page closes more than 10 minutes and Eclipse is not responding during that time.

is there any way to make Eclipse ADT understand there is no connection and there is no unsaved data, it is ok to close editor.

P.S. I user eclipse on MAC

Using Eclipse on Win. 11, I can't replicate this problem. If disconnect and close one of the editor windows, I get a message saying connection lost. All other windows and eclipse itself close quickly.

You should indicate the software version, as always...

Anyway, I used to experience a long delay of let's say 2 minutes with ADT 3.30 and previous version, but all tabs close at the same time after that delay, and I can work on something else during that time.

Some of the ADT tools are really buggy in some very specific context.

You should install the latest Eclipse/ADT versions and if you experience it again, try to locate the problem and revert back.

@Matthew.billingham - unfortunately when it comes to MAC, SAP absolutelf fails. it is very long time they have issues on MAC.

@sandra_rossi - which OS do you do your DEVs? - everything is up to date on my MAC.

"You should indicate the software version, as always..." - I didn't indicate willingly, because I am having this behaviour all versions, not only one system, different sap systems, different VPN, different mac (intel and M ), different MAC OS.

And unfortunately eclipse is the only IDE officially supported by SAP

GUI for Java is not for development.
