This is strange.
If I place a label on a screen via the screen painter, and that label is four characters or less, then after screen generation, SAP renders the label (in the application) in a typewriter font like Courier.
If I place a label on a screen via the screen painter, and that label is greater than 4 characters, then after screen generation, SAP renders the label (in the application) in a proportional font.
Referencing the attached image, note how “Turnkey” displays as a proportional font and “HMS” as typewriter.
The lower left image is the screen painter, the lower right is the screen rendered. Note how once the number of characters exceeds 4, the font changes.
All the attributes are the same for every label. I don't like the inconsistency.
Can someone check this in their system? I'm ECC.
Thanks
Leo

Better indicate the ABAP or Basis version of your system...
and also SAP GUI version in case it's related to SAP GUI.

But in my 7.52 system / SAP GUI 7.70, I confirm what you see. That's probably by design.

Check, if these SAPGUI Options make any difference in your display behavior.
