These figures doesn't sound that you are new to SAP.

The logon is old because that when we got the SAP system - The SAP system is still being built at the moment here (live at end of 2009) - I still support the legacy system and visit SAP forum every now and then until the systems are swapped over - If you can help - That's great - Otherwise, use your time to do some valuable time - don't waste your time by going around to check up on user joining date.

Thanks for your reply - even though it didnot answer my question - You have all my points - I rather give you than the previous user -

I got the following answers since posting.

BDoc: Business document that contains info about changes to a business obj. It is used to exchage orocess data in CRM. There are 2 types. (a) mBDoc messaging BDoc used to xchange data processing within the CRM system thru messaging layer (b) sBDoc synchronisation BDoc - used to synchr with mobile clients thru synchrn. layer

SAP provides a number of BDoc types and services. The sequence of services for a BDoc type is defined in the flow context which is controlled via flow tables. The services to be performed on a BDoc type depend on the available flow context of the given flow definition.

IDoc: Intermediate Document is a standard SAP document exchange format. IDocs allow different application systems to be linked via a message-based interface. The IDoc interface consists of the definition of a data structure (where the data structure is the IDoc) and a processing logic for this data structure.
