Doubt in SE63.

Hi Experts,

I changed the text of smartform which is in German language in SE63. while activating it it does not ask about any request, so how can we transport it to Quality and Production.

Hi,

It means the changes are saved in the already existing request which is not yet released. So these changes will be saved under the existing request. Now this has to be released.

Follow the below path once you are in SE63 txn.

Translation --> ABAP Objects --> Transport Object

when i follow the above path i got one screen in which there is

Transport Entry of Object.

But can u tell me what should i enter in Transport Entry of Object.

select the task name and give other details

Hi,

It does not ask for transport request. You should include this object in transport request.

Use program RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER to assign transport request to this translated object.

Step1: Execute above program.

If you want to create the transport request automatically then click on the check box:

Create Request automatically and choose radio button work bench request.

Then give Object type as "SSF"

Processing date: On which date you have translated your smartform(last changed date)

Package: Give package to store.

Other selection screen parameters are optional.

Forgot to mention First select the target language. It means into which language you have translated your smartforms using se63.

At last after filling selection screen execute.

It will show you a transport request under this you will find the smartforms that has been translated.

R3TR SSFO ZSMARTFORM_NAME

Enter the source & target language & click on Edit.

Then double click on the items displayed

Maintain the translation

SAVE.
