Hi puru,

1. 1 means continuity,

no gaps

eg. 1-jan-2005 - 31-dec-2005

1-jan-2006 - 31-dec-2006

1-jan-2007 - 31-dec-2007

2. where as 2 means,

eg. 1-jan-2005 - 30-NOV-2005

1-FEB-2006 - 31-APR-2006

1-MAY-2007 - 31-JUN-2007

regards,

amit m.
