Hello nicholasg8

BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 uses SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE internally, so I guess both functions are very similar in terms of their functionality. The most important difference is that the former is released for customer usage and officially supported by SAP. The latter is indented to be used by SAP; if you use it and get into problems, you are on your own and SAP support won't help you.
