difference between alv list and alv grid reports

Hi

what is the major diff between the alvlist report and the alv grid reports.

what is interactive reports,can i say both interactive and dialog programs are belongs to the same report groups except the scree terminology.

Hi,

The major difference between Grid and list is Grid is dynamic means you can change the column length dynamically where as list is static means you can not change anything there.

Interactive report is one which interacts with the user. Means taking one value from one list it shows other report. In classic you can have 1 basic and 20 interactive reports.

you can not say both interactive and dialog programs are belongs to the same report groups except the scree terminology because dialog programs have screens and they may interact or not with the user. Though you can keep buttons in screen you can not say it as interactive report.
