Hello Raj,
Business One is a ready to use package for medium or small sized business with limited modules. Modules in these packages are more customized (most of SPRO is configured) than normal R/3 and are ready to use. Business One more over has many custom developments built in to it by SAP.
<b>Custom Development is not with ABAP but with Software Development Kit (SDK</b>) which comes along with Business One License -
The SAP Business One SDK contains interfaces, sample code, documentation, and development aids. Using SAP Business One SDK requires programming of SAP Business One (not just customizing). SAP Business One SDK allows programmers to easily interface third-party applications with SAP Business One both on the database and user-interface level.
<b>The SAP Business One SDK can be used with a variety of development environments, including Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 (Visual Basic, Visual C++) and Microsoft Visual Studio.NET (C#, Visual Basic.NET, and ASP.NET).</b>
Do let me know if I can be of further assistance and Reward points if Helpfull.

hi raj,
B-one is used by only small scale industry. basically this have the small scale bussiness process like sales ,purchase, invoice, shipping, tax etc.
code is like the similar to vb and there is no need of r/3 system. this can work on independently on a seperate computer. since r/3 have a complex bussines scenerio means it covers all bussiness aspects but b-one used for some small scale industry process.
if u will go for technically then it have its forms like sap -script but it needs a minimal programming mostly u will do by drag and drop because process is similar so most routines written internally .
